About
I'm Gurudarshan.
You can call me Gigi.
I'm not your guru. I'm someone who found the way home and wrote down the directions.

The arc
I didn't read about coming home. I did it, twice.
In 2013 I had a traumatic brain injury. Afterwards I couldn't be around noise or people, I'd lost the executive function I'd relied on my whole life, and I was outsourcing every decision to somebody else because I no longer trusted myself to make one.
What brought me back wasn't a program. It was symmetry. I started composing images from twenty-five years of my own nature photography — mirrored around a center line — and found that looking at them settled something nothing else could reach. Then I rebuilt, slowly, using practices I'd been teaching for two decades but had never needed this badly. In 2017 a rollover accident meant doing a lot of it a second time.
Somewhere in there I also had to leave the high-control belief system I'd been raised inside and had given my life to. Rebuilding my own authority after that is the exact path I now walk people through.

The longer version
Why I stopped being polite about this industry.
I'm no longer quiet about a wellness and spiritual industry that runs on telling you something is wrong with you — because a customer who believes she's broken is a customer for life. That's the business model. I refuse it.
I'm not quiet about shaming advice aimed at a dysregulated nervous system either. Raise your vibration. Be more disciplined. Push through. Just meditate. Telling a woman in fight-or-flight to try harder isn't guidance, it's a second injury.
And I'm not quiet about what happens in high-control communities, because I lived it, and because the tools in those traditions are often real even when the people holding them are not. Keep the tools. Drop the pedestal.
Underneath the anger there's a simpler conviction: you are already whole. Healing was never about becoming someone different. It's about remembering who you are underneath the conditioning, the trauma and the fear — and every person who reclaims her own authority frees a little of the collective with her.

What I stand on
Five values, and they're load-bearing.
Freedom
Income is the fuel; freedom is the point. Travel, adventure, nature, and enough room to think — for me and for the people I work with.
Sovereignty
Hand people their power back and get out of the way. I will never build something you need me for.
Self-trust
Your worth is in your being, not your doing. Your wisdom is encoded in you, not outsourced. Your yes and your no are yours.
Inner guidance
Relief, not belief. The body first, real proof second, depth without bypass, and no dogma at any point.
Beauty as medicine
Beauty isn't a luxury bolted onto wellness. For a tired nervous system it's a doorway — the sacred hiding in the ordinary — and it's the one I build with.
